Photographs of people's heads taken by professionals are known as "headshots," and they are frequently featured online or in the media.

The word "headshot" simply refers to a portrait snapshot cropped in the middle of the torso to highlight the subject's head and shoulders.

General professional headshots are used by a wide range of non-business related professions, including academics, writers, non-profits, scientists, and doctors, in contrast to corporate and business headshots.

If you want to project an image of reliability, friendliness, and competence to the world, a professional headshot is a must.

A skilled photographer will be able to capture your unique personality through a combination of factors, including the setting, your facial expression, your position, and the lighting.

Whether or not you should include your face in the photos depends on your character, your line of work, and the final destination of the pictures.

We suggest the traditional suit and tie, or the female equivalent, for more conservative settings such as the legal or academic professions.

If you can't find a specific dress code, the best rule of thumb is to peruse your LinkedIn connections to see how people in your field typically dress. Be sure to focus more on successful people than on those immediately surrounding you.

Never underdress for an interview; always overdress for a job. Ask us if you need clarification. When asked for advice, we're always happy to help.

For business headshots, it's best not to go crazy with the poses. We prefer to use simple, effective poses during our sessions. Some photographers have their subjects strike some very unnatural poses. This is something we try to stay away from like the plague, though

After all, it is your competence that we are showcasing, not our photographic skills.

Warm up with basic poses at the start of your practice. Just be at ease and smile.

We'll move on to some posed photos with crossed arms and maybe a few candids later.

Package includes a minimum of 20 to 30 print quality, high-resolution, color corrected images per look.
